Terms
The terms for using and buying RunDMG. Last updated October 14, 2026.
Who we are
RunDMG is made by Bloomworks, Inc. ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By downloading, installing or using RunDMG, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use RunDMG.
Your license
RunDMG is licensed to you, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on Macs you own or control: on any Mac during the trial, and on up to 3 Macs for each license you buy.
You may not sell, rent, share or redistribute RunDMG or a license key, or remove or get around its license checks. You may not copy, decompile or reverse engineer RunDMG, except where the law allows it despite this term. We keep all rights we don't give you here.
The trial
You can try RunDMG free for 14 days of use. A day counts only when RunDMG installs something. After the trial, RunDMG keeps working, but each install waits 10 seconds on a reminder until you buy a license.
Buying a license
Polar is the merchant of record. It sells you the license, takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt and license key. Polar's own terms apply to the payment. The price is on the home page and at checkout.
- One payment. A license is paid once and doesn't renew. It works with every version of RunDMG, including later ones.
- Up to 3 Macs. To move a license to another Mac, deactivate it on one of them in RunDMG's Settings. Polar's customer portal shows your key and the Macs using it.
- The license check. RunDMG confirms the license with Polar about once a day. If it can't for 30 days, installs wait on the reminder until it can.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. See Refunds.
Updates and macOS
We may update RunDMG and add, change or remove features. RunDMG works with macOS and its disk images, Gatekeeper and file types, which Apple can change at any time. We can't promise that every feature will keep working with future versions of macOS.
Your Mac and the apps you install
RunDMG installs the apps you give it. You decide which apps to trust. If you have RunDMG remove the quarantine flag or add a Gatekeeper exception, macOS won't check that app the way it otherwise would. We aren't responsible for the apps you install with RunDMG.
Privacy
RunDMG never sends anything about the disk images you install. Privacy explains what it does send.
No warranty
RunDMG is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that RunDMG will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep your own backups.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of RunDMG. Our total liability for any claim about RunDMG is limited to the amount you paid for RunDMG in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending these terms
You can stop using RunDMG at any time by deleting it. If you break these terms, we may end your license. When these terms end, you must stop using RunDMG. The sections on no warranty, limits on liability and the law that applies continue after that.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using RunDMG after that, the new terms apply.
The law that applies
The laws of the State of Delaware, USA, govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Delaware. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away any rights that the law where you live gives you and that can't be waived by contract.
Questions about a payment
Polar handles payments, so write to Polar at [email protected] about an order, and include the order number from your receipt.
